Perth Stronger Communities Programme
Expressions of interest for Round 9 of the Perth Stronger Communities Programme are now open!
The programme provides funds for small capital projects that encourage and support participation in local projects, improve local community participation and contribute to vibrant and viable communities.
Funding is made available through grants of between $2,500 and $20,000 to not-for-profit incorporated entities (such as community organisations, local governments, and trustees with responsibility for community assets).
The maximum cost of the project cannot exceed $50,000.
The grant will cover up to 100 per cent of projects costs, or 50 per cent for local governments.
Expressions of interest will be reviewed by the Perth Electorate Community Consultative Committee which will determine the projects that will be nominated to receive funding. These projects will be notified and invited to lodge an application for funding with the Department of Industry, Science and Resources for eligibility assessment.
